Yellow Window designed the new range of treatment tables for Gymna. Expanding on the design DNA created for "Gymna One", the "Gymna Pro" is a collection of innovations that encompass all the benefits of the ONE and expands on them. Featuring constant patient positioning, posture adjustable head cushion, simultaneously adjusted arm supports, smart control, closed base and motion detection. The design provides immediate feedback during repositioning using light cues. The "Gymna Pro" includes an internal battery, allowing to work wirelessly during sessions and prevent hazards such as tripping over wiring. An integrated LED lighting feature allows the therapists to create a pleasant atmosphere in their practice. The "Gymna Pro" was launched in the fall of 2018.
"Gymna One" is a high-quality, user-friendly and smart treatment table. Yellow Window strove for a less mechanical feel, importing colours and materials such as wood or leather from the world of furniture. The most important dimensions of "Gymna One" innovations were form and styling, integration of functional improvements and more explicit showing of intrinsic strengths. The form of "Gymna One" allows for improved ergonomics.
The goals of the design concept and styling were to use the exterior look to communicate innovation and to differentiate by creating a unique product that is hard to copy. Brand values played an important role in making the styling recognizable and building it on the history and values of the company.
The "Echomaster" is diagnostic ultrasound unit which provides the opportunity for therapists to practice ultrasound scans from different locations. Fyzzio asked for an affordable portable solution for diagnostic ultrasound with the combination for use as standalone unit in the physiotherapy practice. In the "dolphin suitcase" all necessary technical components are hidden for patient and therapist. Choice of materials focused on protecting the expensive equipment and reducing weight, as well as providing the product with a more professional and superior look. The new design concept was able not only to reduce the initial manufacturing costs by a third but also to increase the perceived quality of the product.
In 2010 the "Gymna 400" was launched – an innovative electrotherapy instrument with core changes on a functional level. "Gymna 400" included such innovation as a touch screen, easy integration with other devices and instruments, as well as ergonomic improvements for the therapist. The sleek form blends with the environment, allowing for concentrated attention between the patient and therapist. The design approach combined the user interface with the external look, ensuring full coherence.
